Number of Visitors

  • While in Labor and Delivery, one designated SUPPORT PERSON for the duration of the stay 
  • Post-Partum may have two designated visitors for the duration of the stay. Designated visitors may only visit ONE at a time. Compassionate exemptions allowed (i.e., fetal demise)

Excluded from the one person:

  • Clergy: Community clergy are NOT included in the one designated visitor, but are expected to be limited to the one (1) hour visit
  • Patient with Disability Needs: Designated support person for cognitive impairment etc. are NOT included in the one designated visitor
  • Doulas in Obstetrics
