Michelle Matthews, MSN, WHNP-BC

Michelle was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and her Master's degree of Nursing from Old Dominion University. She is certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career as a labor and delivery and postpartum nurse and is certified in inpatient obstetrics. She is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health. She has many interests outside of work, including reading, music, and spending time with her 7 year old son. Her clinical interests include preventative health, adolescent gynecology and low risk obstetric patients. She is excited to join the Complete Women's Care team of Nurse Practitioners.


Brooke E. Naegele, MSN, FNP

Brooke was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, and her Masters of Science degree in nursing from Old Dominion University in December of 2006. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and now specializes in women’s health.  Brooke’s emphasis is on adolescent preventative care and pregnancy health promotion.  She enjoys traveling, boating, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. 


J. Julie Rekant, MSN, FNP-BC

Julie Rekant is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who trained as a student at Complete Women’s Care and since has become a member of the team. She has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for 2-1/2 years and looks forward to many more. She received her Masters of Science in nursing from Old Dominion University in December of 2003 with a certification as a family nurse practitioner. She then became board certified and practices in the women’s health specialty. Julie’s emphasis is patient education and spending time with her patients. She enjoys fitness, especially hot yoga, and teaches classes at Inlet Fitness. She and her husband Evan are enjoying the thrills of their firstborn son who is one year old.
