Donald B. Bell, MD, FACOG

Dr. Bell was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. After attending the University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree, he received his Medical Degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. His residency training was completed at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. He has been in practice for 21 years and his clinical interests are minimally invasive surgery and minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of heavy periods. He has previously served as Department Chair/OB-GYN at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. Dr. Bell and his wife Patty have two children. He enjoys boating, skiing and gardening.


Jennifer D. George, MD, FACOG

After completing medical school at UVA and Residency at the Univ. of South Florida, Dr. George is pleased to return to Virginia Beach where she grew up. Her gynecologic interests are minimally invasive surgery and adolescent health care. She enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be back home in VB and joining Complete Women’s Care.


Kris E. Kennedy, MD, FACOG

Dr. Kennedy has practiced in Virginia Beach since 1989. She graduated AOA from the Medical College of Virginia and she completed her residency at Magee Women’s Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Kennedy is currently a physician advisor for the Sentara Electronic Medical Record (Epic) project. She has served as the Chairman of the Quality Management Committee of Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care for 5 years. She served on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Physician’s Network and the Virginia Beach Ambulatory Surgical Center.

She is very interested in women’s wellness, pelvic support problems, and complications of pregnancy. She has delivered over 2000 of Virginia Beach’s children. “I cherish the trust that my patients and their families have placed in me when they allow me to care for them. I consider it a great honor.”

She is married to Dr. Craig Derkay and they have two great children, Alex and Andy.
