Telephone Calls

We have helpful members who answer the phone from 8:15 A. M. - 4:45 P. M. on Monday through Friday. We have triage nurses available during business hours who can answer questions or schedule an urgent appointment. After business hours, all calls go to our answering service. The on-call physician is available to respond to your emergency medical needs.

For prescription refills we ask that you have the medication name and dosage, as well as the pharmacy name and telephone number. Refill requests require 24-48 hours for processing. For future refill needs we offer a 24 hour prescription refill line. You can call directly to the prescription refill line at 757-321-7515.

Insurance

There are many different insurance plans and we have found that many have different coverage. We recommend that prior to your appointment, you should call your insurance company and verify that we are participating physicians with them. We also recommend that you familiarize yourself with the specific plan benefits of your policy.  Copays are expected at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard as methods of payment. Our Insurance Department is available from 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday and can be reached directly at 757-481-9535. We are not currently accepting any Healthkeepers HMO, Tricare, or new Medicare patients.

Office Hours

Our office hours are from 8:00 A. M. - 5:00 P. M. on Monday through Friday. We have a limited number of early morning 7:00 A. M. appointments. We see patients by appointment only. If you need to cancel an appointment we ask that you please give a 24-hour notice.
